when I turn the engine off the radio goes into eco mode  after a few minutes and turns radio off how can i  listen to radio for say an hour without turning engine on can i change the number of minutes eco mode kicks in, if so how do i do it also would getting a new radio solve this problem any advice appreciated  on my old car i could listen to radio for an hour or more without engine on

Its the ECU that turns the radio off so all you need to do is re - feed the radio with a permanent supply,if all else fails take it directly from the battery, via a small fuse of course.

Whith ignition off, press radio on button & you can listen to radio for much longer before it goes into eco mode than if you listen to radio with ingnition switched on with engine off.
