extra seating

Hi there,  I have a Berlingo that is a 2007 05 plate making it a 2008 model. I need to get an extra seat put  in as I can only carry my daughter around at the moment and she quite often needs friends taking around too. Could I put in a seat or seats that could be detached when I need full van space?

Hi.
All changes you'll do in your van must be safe for your passengers during normal trip and in time of road accident.
Without welding machine and some locksmith works it is not possible.

Hi Pete and welcome.Most vans have a back seat conversion available ,not sure about this specific model,have a shuftie around the interwebb.Personally i would also have a word with the local M.O.T. station and find out what the criteria is.

I think that you would be wise to check the small print in your insurance and /or talk to them before you spend any money.
