Hello just a quick one had my van remapped by http://www.marklightfoot.co.uk/ a month or so ago and I'm absolutely made up with it very noticeable difference in acceleration and top end speed and also a decent gain in the mpg so if anyone on here was thinking of having it done I'd highly recommend  them nice fellas as well cheers lighty....??

I am very interested in this - I've got an 04 plate 2.0 HDI. I wonder how much it costs? I'll have to drop them an email. I was waiting until the old boy had MOT before I spent on it again, but it passed with no advisories, so it can have a remap now.

Key selling point in the original post was that the acceleration, top end speed and mPG had a noticeable improvement. I would also like to know what would be the cost (1.6 Airdream Nov-2012). Is this done by changing peramiters and setting with a computer?

There are many offering this sort of service, however there are also many horror stories about things going wrong, so it would be worth it to me to travel across the country to a citroen specialist especially if other forum members can report a positive outcome.
Anyone have any idea if aux inputs / CD changer / options can be enabled, likewise if the egr can be disabled at the same time ?

i have spoken to my son about this, he is a car nut with a monster v70.
he has said that there is 3 types of re -map.
the one with the horror stories is were young lads with 'saxos' and the like get them mapped for full power. always ends in tears.
the second one is a general one to improve performance and improve mpg.
the third is just to get maximum mpg.
he is finding out for me how much to have my 2.0hdi done. (for mpg and slight performance)

just to add.

if your thinking of doing this, its advised you change your air filter to improve breathing to something like a k&n filter.
