Ad Blue Diesel Fault
#1
After 1000 miles in my brand new September 2015 Berlingo, the adblue light is flashing, warning light and engine management light is on. The car is counting down to not starting in 600 miles. Currently with dealer and apparently first know fault with the system. Anyone else had problems?

Can Ad Blue be topped up by owner, ie just like topping up oil or screen wash? My last truck before I retired used Ad Blue & driver just refilled Ad Blue tank when filling with diesel. Is it that easy with a Euro 6 car?

Yes you can it dose not last as long as Eloys you have to fill it up about once a month or so it's cheaper to by but you use more of it i think it's distilled water by another name some one put me right if i'm wrong ??

I think you fill the average tank up every 12,500 miles or so. So most people won't top it up themselves, it'll be done at service intervals although it's pretty cheap to buy.

No, that's uric acid, several molecules up the metabolic pathway of purines.  Although there are two urea molecules incorporated into the bicyclic structure of uric acid.
