Airbag replacement.
#1
Hi All,
Just purchased a 2011 Berlingo Multispace XTR 90brake.I intend to get a mild retune/remap sometime in the future.

It has been crashed and needs a bonnet, drivers wing, drivers headlight front bumper, front panel that holds the rads, Bracket that comes up from the front of the chassis rail to hold front wing and panel, drivers and passengers airbags. rads ok and car is driving fine. 53k on the clock.

Has anyone replaced airbags before?

Are the airbag ecu's car specific or can i get them from same model  & year Berlingo second-hand?
Where are they located?
Does this model have seatbelt pretenioners? How can i tell if they have failed?

Where can i get a parts diagram and parts number list online?

Thanks. Looking forward to Berlingo ownership.

btw I don't need a lecture on safety etc. I understand the risks. We are all adults here and in my experience if someone starts to lecture about putting our loved ones into a deathtrap blah blah blah then it discourages anyone from giving any constructive advice and the post becomes redundant. Thanks

If the airbags have deployed you will either need to get the crash data wiped from the airbag module or a new module. Crash sensors may also need replacing. Airbag module should be under console in front of gear lever
