I've finally reached the point where the buzzing from my door speakers has annoyed me enough to do something about it. I took the cover off on the drivers door, unscrewed the speaker to have a close look at it, and discovered that the paper cone is fine but the rubber around the edge has rotted away completely around half of it! I was hoping it would be a tear I could glue over, but this looks like more than I can fix
Are there any good sounding drop-in replacements available for a reasonable price? No faffing about, just screw into place?
And what is the trick for unplugging the connector, when the time comes, please? Couldn't figure out how to seperate the speaker from the cabling!
