Hello hampy i think you'll find that the motor is sealed so you will be unable to service the bushes if you could you got to think the bearing's mite be past there best new motor would be better

Before you strip out the motor, give the contacts on the base of the unit a good clean (both the spades and the connectors on the wiring). That can make a big difference.
