Bought a cheap Bluetooth OBD reader from amazon, Dl'd Torque obd, Works perfectly! Allows you to monitor Engine load, Intake temp, Fuel rail pressure, Engine coolant temp, MAF readings, Estiates MPG. Works with my Siemens ECU. Reads Fault codes, Cost me <£15!
Pretty cool and cheap way to keep an eye on things!

This is like number 10 that I ordered. They all work ok. Try yours in another car. Petrol staring from 2001 and diesel starting from 2005 year.
Search the forum and you can find numerous posts about 1.9d not comapatible with cheap obd2 code reader.

This is the one i use. It works with my 2005 2.0 HDI with siemens ecu. I had to start the engine to pair it with my phone. works perfectly.
