I have changed the matrix on xantia and one of the most problematic thing was to remove the pipe connection near the firewall in the engine bay. No matter how hard I pulled it did not get loose. I wasted many hours and my hand was sore from pulling and wiggling. Eventually I took a compressor and asked my uncle to give a little bit of pressurized air through a small pipe that was connected to the cooling system. As soon as I pushed the clip and gave a little bit of wiggle it flied off.
