Centre dash display lit up orange doesn't go off
#1
I have a 2012 van. Today the centre dash display stopped working properly and just lit up solid orange. It stays lit up even when the vehicle is switched off and locked.

Has anybody got any ideas how to reset / repair it or switch it off.

thanks

Very strange, have you experienced any other electrical faults? i have the same year van and have had headlight flicker problems lately.
all i can recommend is disconnecting the battery but you've prob already tried that.
Hope you get it sorted or it sorts itself mate.

There were no other issues. Just started it up and it went solid orange and stayed on permanently even when switched off and parked.
Took it to garage and they hadn't seen anything like this before but the disconnected the unit then reconnected it. This seems to have reset and it has been fine since. I just had to reset the clock.
So it looks like disconnecting / reconnecting the battery would have solved it also.
thanks

Hi

I had this on a 64 plate van not so long ago and the dealer did exactly that, disconnected the unit and all was fine. They did replace the unit under warranty when it went in for a service a few weeks later but in the interim the dispaly was fine.
