Roof rack-no bars help

Help needed.
Stuck in Blackpool from Surrey need to get a ladder on my roof I have an 03 plate mkII Multi space it has six painted brackets but 'computer says no to roof racks'  If you don't have roof bars how can you fit a roof rack do you need to get roof bars.  Never had this problem in my life

Or try Go Outdoors outlet if you got one near they sell thule kits that will fit the mk2
