newbie with 1.9d with issues!!
#1
Hi guys just brought a 2001 1.9d to use for my plastering job.

Brought it the other day and have noticed some issues already!

Only drivers door with activate the central locking. passenger door and back door locks just twist around. Luckily the drivers door locks all the locks with central locking.

Heater works but the blower doesn't. There was no fuse where the green fuse was meant to be so I took one out from another space and put it in where the blower one should be but still nothing! May have to buy one of those fans that plug in the 12v socket!

Other than that it seems spot on Smile

Any advice on the issues above would be much appreciated.

Jobs done so far are put carpet in between the mesh grilles and the rear windows so nobody can see what i've got in the back, and i've given it a well deserved clean!

Next jobs are to rig up a way of fitting in 6 x 3 foot plasterboard sheets.

Will keep everyone updated!

Thanks in advance.

Hi & welcome. The  heater problem is likely to be the switch,There is a thread on here.Check the locks are connected internally & wiring is OK.I think there is a thread on this as well.

Hi Richard welcome to the forum the locks are cheap and easy to replace but you will have a different key. You could get locks made to your key if you want them to match, there are a few threads on here explaining the fix. And as Ron and Jed say check power to switch then to resistor pack and then heater motor.
Are we there yet????? Huh
