7 Inch Touchscreen Removal
#1
Hi Has anyone attempted a removal yet of the touch screen, I have spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out without success, I found two screws on the top section with the volume buttons but it does not appear to make any difference, I am wanting to do a retrofit rear camera as it was not available as option on the L2 but trying to firstly work out removal then to see if I can work out wiring into the head unit.  Many Thanks

Just wondering if anyone has a solution to the above problem? I'm trying to remove one from my girlfriend's Partner Tepee, it's the 7" touchscreen. Desperate to not break any plastic clips or covers - I've still not managed to get at the screws mentioned above, let alone remove it. Seen plenty of used ones on eBay so they clearly do come out!

Any help very welcome. Thanks!

Fro another thread that I posted in:

"It's all shown in the Haynes Manual in the Body Electrical Systems section under Higher range audio unit. There is a trim on the top which pulls off exposing two screws to remove the top trim cover. You then disconnect the wiring and carefully unclip the plastic trim around the audio unit screen. You then have to use the removal clips that fit in the holes in the side of the screen unit. The audio unit then slides out to disconnect the wiring and aerial lead. All this assuming you have a 2008 - 2016 model."
