Rev counter not working!!!!!

Hi all i have a 2002 mk2 beringo and since ive owned it the rev counter hasnt work (1 year) im sorting a few things on it now and want to fix this problem it does move a bit wen u rev in neutral but thats it! i have removed the instrument panel and unplugged and cleaned it out but still no difference, this is a niggling problem which is starting to really p me off! thanks in advance

Hi Mark,

I had a rev counter issue on a 206 instrument cluster, its quite similar to a berlingo dial set up. I just removed the plastic front, and when i would nudge the stick manually, it would pick up with the revs.

I know this is a lame story, but just throwing ideas at you. Why don't you just get a new cluster altogether?
