Extension Mirrors For Towing a Caravan
#1
Does anybody have any experience of which extension mirrors for towing a caravan fit the large Berlingo door mirrors.

Most of them appear to be suited to the smaller ones you find on other cars or possibly ones that are suckered on

Any advice would be much appreciated

I use Milenco mirrors, they clamp on to top edge of mirror, the most expensive but most consider they are the best towing mirrors. If you want cheaper strap on type then do a search they are available for wide mirrors.

Having lost a towing mirror at speed on the A14 I had a good look round for something that would fit. Jackson's of Old Arley had a box of mirrors to try out before you buy. I would really recommend that. The ones with clamps were a waste of space as the clamping surface is tapered to the edge - that's how I lost the original. The ones that fitted best are those with two jointed horizontal arms with two vertical elastic straps. Can't remember the name of them but they were amongst the cheapest and the most effective and I've still got them!
