[Filters & Oil] What did you do to your Berlingo today ?
#1
Full Service.

Oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter. I'll get to look at the cabin filters later. Battery and battery bay also cleaned. Battery reconditioned via smart charger whilst off the vehicle.

The Turbo was surprisingly free of oil. Hardly any at all! Really pleased with that. Smile

The air filter. I always have my suspicsion as to whether these get changed?  I know it's an absolute pain and I know even the most dedicated mechanic is going too think twice about it. I suppose it's possible they did change it. They do get like that.  Replaced the air filter on my wifes Pug (same engine) and that's even more difficult and time consuming as there's even less room. That's a scuttle off job! I always put dates and mileages on filters where possbile.

Only one issue. It only ran for a few seconds after the first start but I guess I didn't squeeze the pump enough. Another 30 seconds on the pump and all sorted. Smile

Complete change of brake fluid. I do it every other year regardless of mileage. Proper change with bleeding it through at every corner.

Nothing looks better than nice clean brake fluid. Smile

Oh and jet washed the wheels as well.

Also battery maintenance charge which I do regularly.

Brake fluid every year ..... ah a kindred spirit as I do the same ..... one way to avoid a seized / sheared off nipple.

Cleaned it, pumped up the tyres and took it to find a bluebell wood to walk in!

I put another 80 miles on it. 6 months old and just hit 13,000 miles.

Big Grin
Parked this morning in central Derby, but really could not resist the last free car park space in the whole of the "DE1" postcode.

It would of been rude not to !   Smile
