Help engine code

Hi  i have a  2011 berlingo  1.6hdi enprise van im a courier ive  only had it a few months last week it broke down whilst driving it lost power and has developed a very loud banging  aa recovered me back the aa man told me something has snapped inside engine and the garage its at  have told me the bottom end is knocking and i will need a replacement engine but know the problem is i have sticker on side of engine that has this code  dv6auted4 e4 bvm bcb and i cant find a engine with same code so wanted to know if a similar code engine will work in the van or will it have to be exactly same code thanks

Is it a 1.6? Searching t'internet suggests it's a 9HX engine

Hi yes its a 1.6hdi i called the Citroen dealers they are saying it is 9ht
But they coudnt tell me if a 9hx or different one would work
