Speedo/milometer fault

No still no answer as said speed sensor replaced (twice)
Auto electrician spent day checking dash pod & wiring nothing wrong apparently pod changed from a  from a vehicle was known to be working in
I Si/ecu/key replaced didn't cure so put original back 

Is is possible the ecu needs software update?  The needles all do the twitch then return to zero position ??

Plug in OBD reader and check if you have speed information in PC program.
That will rule out dashboard as problematic area.
Or it will confirm it.

Don't have one to plug in borrowed a mates unit wouldn't connect at all ?

Also complete binacle from working vehicle was swapped over to mine mileage jumped up to 236036 from 151000 but still does not work
Speed sensor been replaced twice
Ecu/bai/ key replaced but still no luck so replaced original ecu/Abi/lock so all keys remain same

UPDATE!!!! Problem found & solved by local garage turned out to be corroded earth wire & connection leading to the speed sensor- replaced and now speedo/mileometer both operating correctly??
