I managed to get a complete set from a written off 2008 Combi. After 6 hours of cleaning carpets and trim, I fitted the new seats without any trouble. So I now have a nice clean motor, with hole-free unmarked upholstery.

Four bolts and two electric clips and job done ............... simples .....
Van versions have a different floor pan to the cars so watch out there just in case.

....then I noticed the dreaded airbag light was on. A friend plugged in the correct computer and the fault was LHS and RHS "Squibs"
I had noticed the seat belt sockets on the replacement seats were very low... Light dawned. The new seats were from a written off front-ended car where the airbags had deployed. The pyrotechnic units attached to the seatbelt sockets had fired, hence the airbag light. Replaced the complete socket units from my old seats, problem solved. Perhaps some of the persistent airbag faults on the forum might be don to the pyros? Food for thought.
I'll try and put some pix on if I can work out how.?
