Hello all, am new to the forum as have recently aquired a 2004 berlingo van, its a 1.9 dw8. Bought it as a non runner and have replaced the engine due to it having multiple problems and decided it wasnt worth messing about with. Having replaced the engine and got it running after de arming the fuel pump and replacing the stop solenoid all is good. The problems i am now faced with are electrical. I have the air bag light on, oil pressure light on and what looks like a traction control light on (yellow triangle with some squiggly lines). Oil pressure is fine and have replaced the sensor. Have removed the plugs under driver seat and soldered wires to try and cure air bag fault and when you shut the drivers door the traction control light goes out, am at a loss now and was looking for some advice, am thinking about an earth fault but am not sure. oh and the radio isnt working, shows the station in centre display but no sound. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Have tried a bsi reset but will do it again to make sure. Yes the radio is a factory fit, scans through looking for stations but can't find any, was wondering if it could be connected to any of the other problems

Have you checked the aerial is plugged into the back of the radio ive lost count of the amount of cars ive picked up and they have just stuck the radio back in and aint bothered with connections as they are moving it on. The aerial co axial goes up the offside pillar I think to the aerial in centre of the roof. Check the bolt fitting as water gets in there and corrodes the wiring. If its got a short whip on to they are crap for signal reception.
Are we there yet?????
Ex 1.6hdi van now 3 seater 1.4 multispace
