Mk2 berlingo was dw9 now dhy

Hi guys recently blew my old dw9 engine up which I was quite pleased about as it's awful. Got myself and pug 306 xldt threw the motor in no problem she runs with some make shift wiring to the stop start and glow plugs. However my wiring in the car has gone to s**t as my wipers don't work but wen reconnecting the battery they come on once then nothing from the stalk so power is there and my head lights either stay on or off  and the rears still work. Indicators are okay was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me. Thanks

Hi Adam welcome to the forum. Your electrics have probably thrown a fit when you reconnected the battery. Shut all circuits down and turn all switches off including the door interior lights then try a BSI reset. Here is a version of it http://rps-mobile-car-mechanic.co.uk/peu...bsi-reset/# . There is a guy on here that did the same install as you recently including a load of photos and info, have a search if your interested.
