fuel filter (diesel)

hi im new to the forums i was wondering if anyone knows how to stop the fuel draining from the filter back to the tank as mine keeps doing some times the car will start without using easy start into the engine but if left for a couple of hours the fuel filter housing wont fill up so i have to start it with easy start any idea`s anyone

Pump the fuel primer beside the filter housing until hard, if it starts check the seal round the top of the fuel filter.

I do know of a few who have modded the fuel line by putting in a non-return valve.

Go easy with easy start,the engine will start to relay on it,had a old transit like that,it got additited to easy start..

Make sure the lid is not cracked.I've seen several that are & let air into the housing,allowing drain back.
