Just installed an under seat active subwoofer
#11
Been following these instructions - great, thanks! The only thing is I can't locate the empty fuse slot in the engine bay. I've found the main set of fuses there, but can't see any empty slots. The haynes manual has a diagram of an additional 8 slots, including one which takes a 40/50A for the tow, but I can't find where the damn thing is. Any help?!

Cheers

Under the upper tray of fuses, is a second set of Maxi fuses. Your upper tray may have rivets holding it down, but basically undo and remove any fixings holding the upper tray of fuses and swing it upwards, the others should be seen below it.

Tim I had trouble getting to the maxifuses myself, so much so I doubted it was possible or if they were there in my car. In the end I went to the most local to me independent Citroen garage and basically asked them very nicely. The mechanic stopped what he was doing to show me where and taught be how to get to it. I returned later with a bottle of wine to say thanks

Hi patch, can you share that info - no rivets?

Kenwood supply a blue cable to splice in to any 12v power wire in the car that is live only when the engine is switched on. With this the sub now senses when to power off. The Berlingo has a 12v accessory socket in the back thats live when the engine is on so we can spice into that wire.

I don't have that accessory socket in my car. Any idea where else I can find a suitable 12v power wire?
