Bluetooth auto connect
#21
Mmm left hand drive, I'd say it's behind the dash in the drivers side if LHD as Citroen don't seem to bother moving stuff unless it's absolutely necessary, so in the RHD cars it's behind the actual glove box which has to be removed, at least in the Peugeot 207 so probably the same. It was a bigger unit than your pic, something about the size of a Walkie talkie?

So, you also drive on the wrong side in Sweden? Lol Smile

See this thread and another linked in it, might help locate your unit.

The OEM unit is shown below.

I had a look, but couldnt find it. I then read somewhere what suggested that the bluetooth module is embedded in the head display unit. I Guess i Will have to dig that one out again and find a wiring diagram to check of it does have constant feed.

Well I have the RD45 Clarion with BT and voice control, but I read that on the FCF where people were adding the OEM bluetooth module so I would assume they are all separate? Another Citroen mystery lol.

You could be right especially on the later units. Never looked for mine but if you had Lexia / DiagBox, you could see if the stereo section contains the BT info / tests / diagnostics or if it is shown as a separate controller.

Was there ever a solution for this bluetooth problem.?
I'm going through the same issue, cannot see the point of citroen having bluetooth that doesn't auto connect.

The response I got from the retailer was that there was nothing wrong. It's supposed to be like that, so my guess is that the problem was at the drawing board. So bad. I gave up after giving it way to much time. I was about to replace the radio but it's more complicating than that with the head unit etc.
