Hi folks, got a 65 plate Berlingo van which has the screen on the dash with the reversing camera. Today the radio and display started turning itself off and restarting intermittently but got worse throughout the day, Now it's happening all the time, it will stay on for 4-5 minutes then turn itself off for a few seconds and start up again.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
Thanks in advance.

You need the software update that came out in October last year. It's solved the problem with mine and many other people's. Take it back to the dealer and they'll sort it as its a warranty issue.

Hi! My Berlingo van has developed this problem. It's a 2016 plate. I have spoke to the dealership and they want to charge me a diagnostic fee of £108. I have tried to explain to them it is a software problem and needs and update but they are being extremely awkward and refusing unless I have them diagnose the fault. Very, very, very annoying. Does anyone know of any independents that might help? I feel aggrieved at having to pay £108 for something that they will just plug into a computer and they possibly know what the fault is already. I'm certain it's not a hardware issue and more likely a software bug or corruption.

I think the big problem is that no independent will have online access to the Citroen software updates. So it would be dealership or nowt mate.
Others can diagnose stuff of course but software updates to ECU, stereo or BSI are I think, solely PSA's domain.
You can contact @
Lighty on here, he's Mark Lightfoot and is an independent PSA Specialist, his garage is in Ilkston (between Derby and Nottingham).

He will give you good advice, jump on the website and give him a call. He opens at 8.00. 24 Rutland St, Ilkeston DE7 8DG so you know how far he is from you. Looks to be about 66 miles / 1 hour 20 mins away.
Worth a phone call first.
