2007 1.4i Forte exhaust

Has anybody had to replace the backbox on an 07 1.4i Multispace?

Mine has broke just where the rear pipe enters the backbox.

Not unexpected as it had done 27k when we bought it last year, is not far off 40k now so it is getting used a lot more than with the previous owner so such wear and tear is to be expected.

I have done a couple of online searches and not got much info, probably due to the relatively low numbers of the 1.4i knocking about perhaps?

Any websites where I can get the exhaust would be appreciated and rough prices of possible.

Have tried buypartsby and Jaystock but got nothing and would rather fit myself instead of pay through the nose at Kwikfit or similar, if that is he only option then Inkight look into getting a stainless steel system made for it.

Try GSF factors.Good quality parts at reasonable prices.

I checked GSF today and got a price of £40 for the back box.

Coincidentally I got an Email from GSF giving 43% off using code APR43, so just under £23.

Should be ordering it in the next week.

Not even worth trying to bodge it up to get a few more weeks out of it at that price
