WINDSCREEN RUBBER

Hello can anyone tell me is it a common problem that the rubber at the top edges of the windscreen seem to be coming loose and is there an easy fix for it thanks for your help  Smile

Im not sure it may be a bonded screen in 2003? If that's the case i suspect just silicone the rubber back down.

HI POLAR it is a bonded screen was just enquiering if it was a common problem what would be the best type of silicon to use thanks again

I have never heard of it before maybe its had a replacement screen at sometime? Silicone wise any external type.

You could also try some decent supper glue?

My old 96 berlingo had this , just a decorative rubber to fill the gap between the glass and body , does not seal anything. I pushed it back into its position and added a touch of black silicon.

The gap was too big for supper glue, unless it was porridge for supper. Big Grin

PU adhesive is the stuff to stick mouldings and trim back on. You can get it as Tiger seal or sikaflex or look for it cheaper as builders use it and they don't like paying car prices. Like this
So where does this bit go then ?
