As far as i am aware in real world conditions no manufacturer can meet the emission targets, they can only be met in lab conditions.

No interest to me. I buy a car for it's practicality not for what comes out of the exhaust. I'm sure most other folk are the same. No car is 'green', not even all electric. If you want to be green ride a bike.
