Hmm it seems I have a different model. There are no springs it is a torsion bar setup and bump stop seems to be just hanging above swinging arm

If I remember the just slide into place into the holder on the rear?

OK so it turns out that the mot fail wasn't due to the bump stops (wasn't very clear on the fail sheet) turns out after retesting it is infact the square axle bushings. Any tips on replacing? Is it a big job?

I'm not sure what the square axle bushings are. Do your rear wheels look vertical when seen from behind?
If they look like /-------\ or \-------/ then it sounds like a axle replacement.

No camber just bushings they are on top of axle between axle and body
