We've just moved on from our 2004 Multispace (which I've kept as it's not worth anything and has simply been the best car I've ever owned) to a 2013 XTR. I have to admit to being baffled by the rear seatbelts. We were meant to take 4 passengers in the XTR but for the life of me I couldn't figure out the centre seatbelt. The strap from the roof only clips into the black buttoned buckle, but I don't see the third point for securing the belt. I'm sure it's obvious when you know how, but not to me now. Thanks in advance for info.

Thank you. I'll check that as soon as the car comes back from its Saturday jobs. I can't remember seeing a retainer but now I know what I'm looking for, it should be simple.

It confused me the first time I went to use it. Mine has the 60:40 split rear seat and the retainer was out of sight. The seat belt will only fit the correct way, so if something feels wrong... it is.
Anyone using it may have to be strapped in by someone else!
