Hi, just joined this forum as I am the proud new owner of a 2009 berlingo L1. The van is great and drives very well except we have a very odd problem. Every 2 or 3 days a bluebottle type fly will appear from the vent for the windscreen. Its not the same fly because some have been squashed and others out the window, today was the 4th or 5th time its happened.
It does have a slightly strange smell inside, a bit moldy or damp maybe, could it be something is dead inside the engine compartment, maybe a bird or something, not had time to look yet, but how would a fly get inside the vent system in the first place, how does it get past the filters?, does it have a pollen or other filters, there isn't any air-con on it.
Once we get more time I'm going to look to put cruise control on it and get the AUX activated on the stereo but the fly thjing is annoying me at the moment.
Thanks, Peter.
