Supplied With Rear View Mirror?

I have just picked up a new Berlingo Enterprise after having one on demo for a few weeks and notice something odd.

My demo had a rear view mirror despite having solid rear doors and this was great as there are no other mirrors in the cab and I can easily check my make up.

Yes you did just read that right... it was a joke  Smile

My new van has not got a rear view mirror which I am finding a pain but it does look like the mount is there.

I'm waiting for the dealer to get back to me but can anyone confirm if these are usually supplied with a mirror or not and if not, is it simply a case of just buying one and mounting it on the holder or is there more to it?

Mine doesn't and it doesn't have the clip on the window either.

mine did come with a mirror and has the mount for it, you can have it if you want it, its taking up space

I've got a dashcam in its place and the antenna for my satnav

Thanks for the offer finny, once I hear from the dealer I may take you up on that!

When you refer to the mount, my screen has a circular shaped channel about 50mm in diameter where the mirror would be. Is this where it fits to or are there different fitments for these vans?

My first Berlingo B9 L2 had solid rear doors but had the round metal bracket for mounting a rear view mirror, on the inside of the windscreen glass. I obtained a rear view mirror from a BMW in a scrap yard which fitted this mount, and was able to mount my dash cam on this modified BMW mirror (free to anyone who wants to collect it from me). On my latest B9 I just use a self adhesive dash cam mount.

You get the rear mirror if your van has the rain sensor option fitted

Not in this case as both vans are identical spec wise and both have the visibility pack which includes a rain sensor in fact they are pretty well fully loaded.

It is probably not an issue as my dealer has said they will swap it over for me which should be a 5 min job but still strange how one has and one has not got the mirror Huh probably just an oversight at the factory.
