Hello!
#1
I'm Dave and I have inherited my Dad's 2004 Berlingo Multispace - my first Berlingo. It has a diesel engine with manual gearbox. Unfortunately it also has a number of sizeable dents - so my first job is to attack the body work with my new set of panel beating equipment to try and make it a bit more presentable. I'm also planning on tidying up the interior - I'd like to replace the folding parcel shelf with one on a roller (if they exist). Maybe go for alloy wheels later if I can find a good set at a reasonable price.

Anyway - it's early days yet! Can anyone recommend a decent manual with details about the body work? I see there is a Haynes manual and also one by Pocket Mechanic - any thoughts on how good (or not) these are?

Hi Gabnash welcome to the forum, I cant recommend a particular manual but if you have a library nearby have a look in there. If they have not got any on the shelves ask them to search the database as they can get them in for you and only cost a few pence for a lot of knowledge.
Are we there yet????? Huh

Thanks for the info. From what I can glean on other threads the Haynes manual doesn't seem too highly rated. I'll see if I can browse one in my local library. Hopefully they'll be able to get hold of Pocket Mechanic?!

Welcome to the Forum and a free car is always good news !!

Cannot comment on bodywork but can say that Haynes is worthwhile buying if only for changing the cambelt.

I expect there will be some incoming missiles but I'll say it anyway ..... many questions asked here can be answered by looking at the book but don't let that put you off asking any question you like as folks here thrive on them.... I'll even offer advice if when I can too.
