Remote Central Locking
#1
I have just been given a new 61 plate berlingo from work WITHOUT remote locking, lol.

what i want to know, is it easy enough to fit the remote locking on either from citroen direct eg, is it just a case they sell you a fob plus the programming???? or can i fit an after market one like a toad RK30??

If so has anyone done it that could provide some help as to fitting etc, im fairly handy with a soldering iron and heatshrink, just need to be pushed in the right direction.

To install fully factory remote locking system is expensive.
It's better to install aftermarket door actuators but control system.....
you can use original (key transmitter+battery+reciever).
If there's no reciever in a Com2000 unit you must change whole unit.
After all these installations option "central lock" must be activated by Lexia.

It already has central locking, just no remote, its optional, all i want to do is have keyless entry.

If the sensors are fitted then you should just need the key & programming. Not cheap from a dealer - mine quoted me about £140ish (£70 for the key & another £70 to program it). If you get the key you could have it programmed somewhere else for a lot less.
