Just to remind people with android phones - the compatibility isn't with android but with Mirrorlink.
You need to be using Mirrorlink enabled apps on your android phone, it isn't the same system as android auto which is now compatible with the latest K9 Berlingo

Well done
However, my wife has recently acquired a Note 4 and it doesn't connect
Maybe Citroen will tell us what Android actually will work?

Hi Tree
We would be happy just to get to use Google Maps on our Android phones! I would have hoped Google/Mirrorlink would have made it compatible.
Are you able to tell us a Mirrorlinked app that we could load and try please?
Also, have you managed to link an Android phone to your Berlingo?
Brian

Hi Brian
Google mirrorlink apps. First hit on google is Samsung’s page on how to enable it via the settings on a Samsung phone. When I first had my 65 plate berlingo I did manage to connect my daughters tablet but had to use mirrorlink enabled apps - google maps wasn’t one of them then. Those were technically early days as things like CarPlay from apple were in their infancy - it wasn’t until my second service it was able to be enabled on my screen. Android auto wasn’t even about so the module didn’t recognise it, hence mirrorlink being the only option but it’s cluncky and temperamental. I’ve only had iPhones and for me it’s worked since the Smeg module was updated. Apps are limited but then who needs more than four satnavs and angry birds when they’re driving!!

My Mirrorlink stopped working recently after a very minor software update on my Samsung A3 phone. As far as I know that's it, nothing that Citroen can or Samsung will do.
I've been looking at double DIN Android head unit options but will probably end up making do with a phone cradle if I need a GPS
