Hello all, last week I took delivery of a new XTR in iron grey, so far very pleased and have installed 3rd party mats (dealer wouldn't give me any) and a £7 boot liner from Lidl.
One slight prob, it pulls to the left when driving, more so when I brake. I'll be contacting the dealer to rectify it, seems like brakes.
Best of all, it takes my RC glider wings inside.

It's a tight-fisted dealer that won't give you a set of floor mats!
Take the car back to them as the PDI was, obviously, not carried out correctly. Sounds a bit like tracking/camber error. This will drastically affect tyre wear and we have already had one new Berlingo here with premature and uneven tyre wear caused by incorrect steering/suspension/sub-frame set-up. If you let it go a few months down the line the dealers will magically find the problem and attempt to charge you to remedy it as it'll be either your fault or wear and tear!

I ended up buying some online. £27 delivered, for an extra £9 I could have had "Bellamy's of Lee did NOT supply these mats" embroidered on them.

Ta for info Jeffers. It's booked in for next Monday. I like to get things resolved quickly and this pulling to the left seems like something which could turn into a larger problem. Sadly I shan't be able to drive for six weeks, I severed three tendons in my right hand last Thursday.

I should say after my mat post that it was intended as a light-hearted comment, Bellamy's of Lee made the purchase of my vehicle easy, knowledgeable & polite staff, offering everything I needed, 0% finance, £1K off etc. The service department was helpful when I called to explain the pulling problem, offering me a convenient date to bring it in. Just for the record, like.

Nice gliders, I used to do R/C planes but it got too expensive and time consuming. Still got an almost complete "Gentle-Lady" in the loft, maybe one day I will fly it but no R/C gear at present

A fine floater, great for summer evenings, a favourite of mine.

Just got a 2006 XTR myself! Not sure if I can get those overhead rack things for mine, they look very useful.
Going to be tricky getting my Sebart Miss Wind to fit in. The Fus is 1.65m long...
Just been made redundant and lost my company VW Transporter LWB. Might be time to cut down my model fleet :-(
My wife said I can't sell the Miss Wind though, it's too beautiful.
I have a Gentle lady too. Won our club bungee comp with it in April. Lovely thing.

Sorry about your redundancy, bad news. I've found only slim fuz or wings fit on the o'head bars, still convenient, those in the pic are 2m long.
Keep the Sebart, it'll tell you when it wants to go (i.e. by RC model v Earth battle).
