speedo help please

i just bought Citroen Berlingo Multispace diesel 2002 but the speedos not working
any ideas

Hi there welcome to the forum, it could be the speedo drive that is on the rear of the transmission housing next to the inner end of the right-hand driveshaft. There is a wiring connector and one retaining bolt, there are some useful pictures and txt in the Haynes manual if you can get hold of one or there is some citroen manuals on the site somewhere.

this is the part i needed to replace,mines an 08 1.6hdi) Got it from dealer as couldn't wait for ebay,seem's it's common as parts manager said they carried a high stock limit on them, good luck,post back if it is.Ian.

someone said to me my speedo may be attatched the abs not the gearbox
could that be true.
