... and my MoT is due soon... Is it a fail?
It's got a stone chip and, although it's not noticeable it must have a hole in it as there's condensation behind the glass.

Take the bulb out, and stick a hair dryer in the bulb hole for an hour or so.
Then make sure the rubber condom round the bulb is put on properly.

Yrs ago I repaired a holed headlamp on an Escort with Araldite & a small patch of clear plastic. It passed mot for the next couple of yrs ok so I guess you should be ok for mot with repair as described.
