Headlight cracked...
#1
... and my MoT is due soon... Is it a fail?
It's got a stone chip and, although it's not noticeable it must have a hole in it as there's condensation behind the glass.

Take the bulb out, and stick a hair dryer in the bulb hole for an hour or so.

Then make sure the rubber condom round the bulb is put on properly.

....and remember to put some clear sealant in the stone chip so no more moisture can get in. As long as the chip does not disrupt the beam pattern it should be OK for the MoT. HTH

Yrs ago I repaired a holed headlamp on an Escort with Araldite & a small patch of clear plastic. It passed mot for the next couple of yrs ok so I guess you should be ok for mot with repair as described.
