Here's a cheap & cheerful way to add some shelter at the back of a Berlingo car or van. With the car you may need a prop to support the tailgate if the struts are getting a bit weak.
This is on our Dispatch but will work on a Berlingo too.
First method works by clipping folded tarp to roof bars & then bungees to the wheels & underside of van. I used this to provide some shade recently. Also good for rain depending wind & direction van is parked. We'll use this method at some race (MTB) events if the weather is bad & parking is tight & we can't use our side awning. The only guys in use are to hold the doors open against the wind.
The next method is with tarp fully open. Still attached to roof bars & wheels but other end held put by a telescopic pole & guyed out. Good alternative to a drive away awning as goes up or down very quickly. We often just use a very small tent or kip in the back of the van so it's useful space for cooking, sorting out gear etc.
