Hello guys, I've started my project in earnest now
I've booked the window tinting, I have potentially sorted some struts and springs
I'll then drop the rear
I have, I think, sorted some 17s
Next I want to free up the exhaust, I'm looking for a ports exhaust and decat, with a cat silhouette ?
Can anyone advise where to get a system and egr blanks, I'm struggling to find any if I'm honest

Save yourself a load of bother and just get it remapped by hdi-tuning.co.uk for £140+vat for a stage 1 map. Much less expense and hassle than new exhausts and buggering about with egr blanking and decat stuff. I've had mine remapped, it's a totally different beast.

I'm just following the route I always take, engine breather, intake cooling, then remap and turbo/ boost tweaking

hi Andi DK, try GSF for the exhaust they have a tuning section - i think
You can buy blanking plates off ebay for the egr but you need to get the egr mapped out with the remap.
Should go well with that lot done - good luck - O dont forget to upgrade the brakes too!

The EGR is just there to get the engine to burn some of its exhaust gases.
I can't see any reason that it would cause a Turbo problem, happy to be proved wrong though.

On the subject of an exhaust I would consider getting a stainless steel one custom made by Longlife or similar as then the exhaust will last the life of the car and should make it a bit more saleable.

Blanking the EGR will not harm the turbo .
