Heater Blower Resistor pack
#1
Hi all,
I am sure this subject has been covered before but i cant find relevant thread. Heater blower on my 06 mk2 HDI multispace desire will only work on speeds 3 and 4. It has aircon fitted . I understand that i need to change resistor pack but am unsure as to correct location. Is it straightforward to remove or is there a specific way of getting in and doing it. Thanks in advance

It's simple enough. You have to remove the blower unit in the passenger footwell.

I think it's 3 torx screws and it drops out. You might have to take the screw out of the bonet release to get to one of the screws.

Once out the resister pack is on the top and you just replace it with one off ebay and refit.

There are threads with a bit more detail and some links to diagrams on here somewhere.
