hi pal. just wondering for the reason u want to remove your alternator??? Im going to upgrade my alternator or introduce a 2nd alternator. reason being to supply more power to my Hi-Fi. not looked into this yet tho but seen as u have asked i may have too. let me know if u have any joy, as will I

hi, im changing it because the battery light is staying on when the van is at a stand still and only goes off when I drive, ive had it changed by a mechanic this evening and its not a job I would have been able to do myself. But after all that, the problem is still there.

have u thought about testing your battery condition. any place that sells batteries should have a battery test kit.
