#1
Forgive me if this has been answered before but I can't find the answer?  The accelorator pedal feels really stif..  I have a 04 plate 19 D van. I followed the cable and sprayed WD40 all over it and the small plunger pum..  Still the same.  Oiled the pedal..  Still the same any idea??

It will be the cable, have changed hundreds over the years.
If you buy a replacement kit from somewhere like GSF , you can make the job very simple by just changing the inner cable initially. Just cut the nipple off the old one at the pump end & pull the old cable out from inside the car.
I would squirt some spray grease down the old outer cable, or drip some oil into it, push your new inner through from inside the car, and fit the new solder less nipple supplied with the kit.
Car will feel like new and seem a lot faster.
If you feel up to it later, you can replace the whole thing ( much harder).
