Hi yea, I've a 2011 old shape Berlingo with approximately 100k on it and the sqeaking and squawking out of the rear suspension is horrendous. Seriously you have to bearly look at the van for it to make noise, the slightest bit of movement creates a racket. So I was just wondering where to start with this issue.

Mine is making similar noises, but has only 40k on the clock. Mine sounds much more to me as if it's interior trim (at best), and shocks (at worse). My noise is only evident on bumps (even the slightest) but is silent when running on a smooth road.
Any thoughts if I'm being optimistic?

More likely to be dampers at 5 years old unless it's had a really rough time. Have you had a look underneath ? Wheels do lean in a bit at the top that's how they are set. Unless they are ridiculously angled you don't need to worry, when the wheel top nearly touches the inner arch you really have problems. Here's
Rustcrats old thread on what to look for.
So where does this bit go then ?
