Hi. New on here.
#1
Hello folks. I'm Davie, joining up here. I'm on the FCF as the owner of a citroen xantia activa, and have just had an offer accepted on a berlingo multispace accepted for my daily driver. It's a January 06, 55 plate 2.0hdi with 130000 miles covered. It has a couple of problems needing sorting, but it's suitably cheap to compensate

It's the French Car Forum. It has been a lot of help for me with a succession of citroen, peugeot and an odd renault. Very knowledgeable if you have a broken xantia! Or any other citroen peugeot and renault.

I got banned from the FCF because one of the mods is a cockmaster.

Thought I hadn't seen you on there for a while. Was that for criticising a guy wanting a safe reliable car and then buying a 305?

Yes. I was perfectly polite but a poster called "FOAD" had a go at me, then the 305 owner himself, saying I was talking nonsense about safety items - even when backed up by the paramedic who posted about safety features being essential. Then he made some comment like "would you let your child go on a steam train" - as if a steam train is as likely to get hit on the road as a car.

Then one of the mods told me to be quiet and that he wouldn't be scared to ban us and wouldn't be lenient in letting people back on.

I laughed, complained that unless you're in his little clique you can't say what you like, and told him his god complex was appearing again. He banned me, the child.

As if I've only got one account on the FCF !...
