So me exhaust fell off!
Exhaust decided to fall off whist driving down the road. Sad

It seems to have come apart here (near the front end of the unit).

The rest of the exhaust seems to be in good cond, so is it possible to fit it without shelling out for a whole new exhaust? I have a set of ramps/tools, so that's no drama.
Had this just a few weeks ago, took it to a garage and 15 minutes later and 15 quid spent and it was sorted, the fella seems to have welded a replacement section in, i'd have done it myself if I had ramps and a welder. van is in the garage for something else at the minute or i'd snap a picture for you...
Sounds like you got it sorted. Had to pay £350 for a whole unit with a cat. Oh well.
aw damn! guess I was just lucky, but on the other hand its in for a timing belt/water pump, clutch AND flywheel, so all things considered i'd rather be in your shoes!
