Genuine Towbar Wiring
#1

.pdf   0000942870_9428_70_0_9428_70_71_72.pdf (Size: 1.57 MB / Downloads: 59)

Morning, I'm new to the forum and have searched extensively to find the answer before posting so please be gentle with me!

I'm fitting the genuine Citroen Westfalia towbar and wiring kit.

I'm stuck on where to plug in the permanent feed to the BSI unit.  Can anyone help with deciphering the instructions on page 6 of the attached?

It seems there are two options, use the grey connector block if you need a 30 amp feed or the black if you need a 20 amp feed.  Am I correct?  Also what does V 8 F 4 (20A) and V 8 F 9 (30A) mean?  Does this indicate the specific pin that the permanent feed should go.

I have read on the forum about the need to cut a supply to the existing lights but I don't see this at all in the instructions I have.  Any help appreciated.

Many thanks.

If
you are correct, don't F4 and F9 refer to fuses in the fusebox?(pic 17) if there are fuses in those positions it's easy to check their rating and that might answer that small question....
