hi, we were driving home today when we heard a beep and a message appeared on the mfd say "top up emissions additive, engine starting will be prevented in 1500 miles", vehicle has only done about 4850 miles, it's a 16 plate 100bhp semi auto, I thought this seemed too soon to need topping up
Thanks

It is a bit soon, but don't worry too much, maybe it wasn't full when new.
We have filled a few Peugeot 308's and they take about 12 to 14 litres in total.
Best to buy it yourself, 20 litres on eBay is about £20 ish.
Sometimes it can take 20 or 30 miles for the warning to go off.

Supermarket, Morrisson garages are stocking adblue now, 10 litres for £11. They have smaller bottles but a 10 times the price.

Where does it go, I understand there is a small tank near the fuel tank but where is the filler for it?
Also do all B9s have adblue or just certain ones, I have a 2009 1.6 HDI 75.
