Air bag light on multispace 2004 2.0

Can't get airbag light off offie longer than 2 minutes tried cleaning and wd40 in the connectors under the drivers seat , anybody else have any other ideas , can I cut the connectors off an put my own connector block in ??? Need ideas guys

Only if it is the connector that is causing the prob. Other issues will also put on the light.

Ok so I've fixed my problem , had to do a bit off stripping .

drivers seat out
handbrake cover too ,
lift carpet ,
followed air bag wire back about a meter , saw a kink in the wire , straightened the kink set drivers seat in to try wires and air bag went out , so my problem is fixed now , and I think it's from moving the drivers seat back an forward ,
