hi all i am new to your forum.

the first berlingo i had was a brand new one in 1999. then had a few subarus untill 2006 and then went back to berlingos.( i think its a sign of either old age or being tight when you value confort and fuel economy over performance) am now on my 4th and this is the hdi, a different beast completely to the 1.9 diesels i have owned before.
more ecenomical, more power, much nicer to drive and an absolute pain in the a**s if it can go wrong it has, hopefully when its all sorted it should be great.

non with the engine. its all the modern electronics that go with it. take off a battery lead and you end up with it in the garage having the fuses replaced in the onboard computer (£85)
sterio turns on every time you open the door.
headlights adjust themselves, fine if you want to watch owls but not much good for seeing the road.
airbag light keeps coming on (the standard lose connection under the seat)
it eats side light bulbs.
washer pump keeps leaking.
a real friday afternoon car.
